ask the AM students, recorded

Watch a recording of the AM students flash meeting

How cool, the very first unofficial ask the AM students flash meeting hosted by Aja, Benjamin DS, and Freddy. It's so nice you guys took the time out to answer some questions of new and prospective students, like how does grading work, the workload, the rigs, the short story classes. There was tons of great information and advice in there, and plus I miss y'all so much it's just nice to see your smiling faces.

*the session really gets up and running about 11 mins in, so feel free to hit the fast forward button

**there's also a "chat" button where you can see the live chat going on, and the corresponding responses of the AM students

Glad you liked it, and glad you posted it here. A big thank you to Aja for setting this up. However... you didn't copy the right link (you copied the text instead of the URL), so the link doesn't work. Here's the good one:

Awww, thanks Anthea! We miss you all, too! :) There were lots of questions about you and Rebecca, of course... everyone wants to know how they can go about getting snatched up by Disney halfway through school! :D

I hope you're doing great out there in sunny CA, and I'm really really looking forward to seeing that gorgeous film you're working on! :)

hi benjamin, thansk for spooting the brokem link, i used your link and it seems to be working better now, thanks for spotting that.

hi aja, i think you're answer was right on. it is partly timing and luck, and partly treating your mentors and assignments professionally as you mentioned. definitely being close to the companies location wise is also hugely important. i think all your advice was spot on.

Alright! We made it on Anthea's blog! That is the height of coolness right there ladies and gentlemen, it doesn't get any better than this. ;)

Thanks for linking it Anthea! Hopefully people interested in AM will get some of their lingering questions answered through it.

hey mau!!! yeah that's one thing for sure about AM, the enthusiasm is contagious, not only of the students but the AM staff as well. It's so great to have a place for so many people to come together with a common passion for animation.

hey rebecca!! i'm sure you're going through the same feelings as me, i know i miss all our AM friends so much, i really miss being able to see everyone's assignments every week.
